Living A Healthier Life Through Constant Communication

By Mark Spring

No man is an island. We need other people for us to grow and to communicate. There is no man on this planet that will not want to talk to other people. It is already a given fact that we need others for us to survive and those who do not are simply lying to themselves. It has been known that talking your problems with your friend lowers blood pressure. Here are ways for you to reconnect with people.

Do lunch. It has been known that people who talk to others with their emotions are four times better at fighting off diseases and what better way to reconnect with your loved ones than sharing food at lunch. Get your bestfriend or your wife to lunch and reconnect with them.

Take the time to sort out all of your relationships with other people and remove those that are not beneficial to you. It will only sap the energy out of you and will make your life miserable. It is time to narrow down your friend's list.

Going to church is a great way to reconnect with a lot of people. The church leader is a great person to talk to and even those members of your religion can help you cope with problems as well. Renew your faith and head back to church regardless of your religion.

Technology can still be used to reconnect to people on a daily basis. There are different applications and programs that help us rekindle our lost relationship with our parents who are living on the other side of the world. For those working abroad, the internet has proven to be a useful tool to close the gap of communication.

A family will not be complete if there won't be a black sheep or someone who is always out of the loop. Regain your relationship with that person and you will discover things about yourself that you are not aware before.

Turn your workplace into a community of friends. We all know how stressful it is to work in an office full of angry people but when you turn your office into a place surrounded by friends, you get to lessen that burden. Take the initiative to bring officemates closer together.

Talk to older people. Older people have more experience in life and it can be valuable for you. You can either visit some park where they usually flock and you will be surprised at how much they have gone through in life.
